2006 – 2000

2006 RCA runners up for work on Autodesk DWF campaign. At the Business to Business Marketing Awards the campaign was “runner up” in the “Best Digital Campaign” category and "runner up" in the “Best Customer Acquisition Campaign” category.
2005 Following a period of change, RCA consolidate the business with a smaller, lean team.
2004 RCA introduce a telemarketing operation into their offering to enhance Clients' DM campaigns.
2003 RCA work for Reuters was shortlisted and “Highly Commended” in the Integrated Campaign category at the PPA Business to Business Advertising Effectiveness Awards
2003 Nigel Brown joins RCA as Chairman, to bring a wealth of business experience to the Board.
2001 Chris May leaves RCA.
2000 In order to strengthen the overall RCA brand, OOF! was rebranded as RCAi, and the unit moved to the Agency's main building to be close to the core creative resource. RCA are ranked a Campaign Top 10 UK Business-to-Business Agency.
1999 – 1990 
1999 With the experience and understanding of the changing business-to-business communication arena, "Sales Solutions" was established as the company's core philosophy. This is explained in the "What we do" section of this website.
1995 Following recognition of the impending impact of the Digital Information Age, OOF! was established as a separate division of RCA, to offer New Media (digital) communication solutions. eg Websites, CD Roms, Interactive presenters, etc. They were located in a converted Piggery near to the main Agency.
1994 RCA moved to converted barn premises at Cliddesden, Basingstoke. The buildings have won Architectural Design awards and have been enhanced by décor and furnishings reflecting the company's desire for a working environment that is both creative and comfortable.
1991 Eric Carpenter retired following one further year as Non-Executive Chairman.
1990 Chris May / Tony Carpenter bought agency from the founders. Eric Richardson retired. Mark Wells joined as Creative Director, with a background of creating integrated communication solutions for clients during a period of ten years in a number of agencies.
1988 – 1966 
1988 Tony Carpenter joined as Associate Director, following ten years' experience in leading advertising agencies in London, including Ted Bates and BMP, developing advertising solutions for organisations such as the Electricity Council, Lancome, Courage, Pedigree and Canon.
1978 Chris May joined as Account Executive from Sun Alliance marketing in London, bringing client-side marketing experience to the company.
1974 Company relaunched as Richardson Carpenter Advertising Ltd. Over the previous 8 years the studio was supplemented by services recognising the need, not only execute design solutions, but to formalise strategies and create communication concepts. This change was officially recognised by the founders in 1974 and they decided to launch as a full service advertising agency. The studio enhanced its offering by bringing in Media buying and Account Management personnel.
1966 Established as Richardson Carpenter (Design for Print) Ltd. Eric Richardson and Eric Carpenter set up the original design studio in Denmark Street in Wokingham, Berks, servicing clients such as Macfisheries and Lansing Bagnell. Prior to setting up together, they worked as Creatives in a design studio in London.
